I am leaving the country in November and unfortunately will have to give up this gorgeous apartment. It is a 3 bedroom apartment on the 31st floor in a new building in Docklands- 'The Quays'.
The building has a gym, pool, sauna, spa/ jacuzzi, tennis court, theatre, 2 reading lounges, 1 library, small rooms that can be booked for study/teaching, barbecue area and a private dining area for parties. The facilities are all free and makes the place totally worth it.
You will have your own room and bathroom and the room up for rent has french windows from ceiling to floor and overlooks the pier. I have been living there for 6 months and have been the only tenant in the room so it is white and new. I am happy to leave back all my furniture for a small price. (Can discuss)
The apartment has a huge living room, an open plan kitchen and balcony which over looks the city, the docklands pier and the Melbourne star. The sunset from the 31st floor is a treat to watch.
The kitchen also is fully furnished and has an oven, microwave, dishwasher and a blender.
There are plenty of restaurants right under the building on the pier and 2 local grocery stores are right under. An IGA too is right around the corner. Trams 86, 70, 75 and City Circle run from stop D2 which is a 1 minute walk. There is also free parking available in the building garage.
There are 2 other girls in the house who have their own room and bathroom. Both are really friendly and have no hang- ups.
